To all Infocomm Club members: After tml is our day! Getting excited? Anyway, back to main point: On 5-12-07, Wednesday, we will be meeting at Pasir Ris MRT Control Station. When you arrive, please look around and try to spot ME, VINCENT. I will have to take your attendance before we board the shuttle bus. As mention earlier on, the shuttle bus will leave at 4.15p.m and for your info, then next shuttle bus will be at 5.45p.m. So if you do not want to be left behind, please be punctual and reach on time. We will be not be waiting for latecomers and no matter what, we will leave at 4.15p.m sharp. Bring along your Club tshirt as we are going to wear it into Escape Theme Park. It will cost $7 and if you want to rent bike overnite is $15. So bring enough money also (I'm just repeating the things said in tagboard) Lastly, remember to pack your things well and don't miss out anything. Infocomm Chalet

Its 4 days toInfocomm Chalet! I just wanna post some stuff regarding it..haha:D When you are packing for Infocomm Chalet, do remember to bring along these items also, besides the packing list Rachel has provided in the previous list... 1) First- aid stuff What I mean is not the full first-aid kit, but at least bring items like panadol & plasters. 2) Handphone charger Its important if your handphone has a tendency of 'dying' after 1 day of usage, I hope not though! Since we will most probably be communicating through sms/calling, please ensure that your phone is on & has battery at all times...In short, just on your handphone 24-hours! Lastly, do note that the packing list is not exhaustive, so you don't have to really adhere to it. Just bring what you think is important:) When I say important, I do not mean things like playstation, tablet pc etc -.- Anyway, just behave yourself, ya? Competition!

Digital Art Competition on the Environment 2007/2008 Theme: Climate Change in the Urban Jungle The British Council, together with the Singapore Science Centre and Scholastic Environment Fund (SEF) are running the second Digital Art Competition on the Environment. This competition will be opened from 1 November 2007 to 23 March 2008. Building on last year's success, they have widened the scope of the competition and included 2 NEW divisions to encourage public participation and special group interest in Interactive Digital Media (IDM). Canon Photography Workshop

Updated NEWS!! ( In Red ) Those who want to attend the workshop conducted by Canon on photography related stuffs, please sms me to tell me who you are. Maximum people is 40. But best is 35 or 30 (Said by Mrs Chiang). My opinion is 20 people is the best cause everyone will get one DSLR for hands-on. Which means Canon will be bringing 20 DSLR down for us. The DSLR is not a gift. It is just for us to try out. The workshop is on 5/11/07 1-5p.m (because 29/10/07 date is being booked by other people) . Those who are still interested, SMS me at 94359274.

Cyberwellness Information

These are the things you should note when doing the Cyberwellness presentations to your assigned classes. Before presentation 1. Leave your class 5 minutes early and go to your assigned classes. 2. Set up the teacher’s computer and projector. During presentation 1. Prevent reading off the slides. 2. Project your voice loud and clear. 3. Do not take too much time for each slide. (Viewing of video and group work is roughly 40 minutes) 4. Always keep track of time. Once the presentation has ended, you should have finished. 5. Vincent, Wang Jun, Jian Long and Tay Weijie will be patrolling around the classes to make sure that everything is going smoothly. Timeline 1. Briefly introduce yourself. (Name, class etc) 2. the may duty roster will be up by tonight, and will only comprise of lower secondary students, because of the upper secondary mid year examinations. a sec3 i/c will be put but he/she does not need to do anything except oversee and make sure the duty people for that day dont screw anything up.. the sec 3 i/c also does not need to go earlier and he/she can leave earlier cos of the paper. if the sec3 i/c does not have any paper on that day, please find a suitable replacement who will be going to school. also, all meetings for itmc until the mid year examinations are over are still COMPULSORY for lower secondary pple, and upper sec will join immediately after the mid years. happy mugging and all the best for upper sec[:

regarding cyberwellness

The whole thing about cyberwellness now that as sec 3s and sec 2s, you're supposed to take over the project and run it. from my current list of people who are in cyberwellness, it includes:- 1. jian long 2. wang jun 3. weijie (204) 4. yi xie 5. zhi wei 6. jun wei there's evidently a shortage of sec 3s, so i think you will be pulled into this thing. the thing that you need to do for cyberwellness is very easy. simply spread the message. but how? this is your job. it's your job. anyway. i'm going to put the sample files we did last year on this server (you might have to wait because i need kah swee to be online). ANYWAY. FIRSTLY first meeting's on the TENTH OF JANUARY, 130PM, IT MEDIA HUB. wednesday, yes, now we're meeting twice a week for term one. for term two onwards, only thursday.
