CHECKLIST FOR UNOFFICIAL INFOCOMM 3D2N CHALET 2009

Hi this is just a checklist done by me so if YOU need anything else, please do bring them. I will not be responsible for any inconvenience caused just because YOU didn't bring them and it's not included in this checklist. 1. 3 tops 2. 3 shorts 3. Toiletries - Shampoo, shower foam, towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc 4. 3 undergarments 5. MONEY!!!! (>$30) Please do remember that meals are NOT provided except for the steamboat on the first night. 6. Plastic bags/zip-lock bags (unless you just stuff dirty and unworn clothes into your bag) 7. Slippers/shoes 8. Boardgames if you have, and am willing to bring. I doubt we'll need that many so if you're bringing, leave a tag! We just need around 3-4 different boardgames. Thanks!! :) Also, if you are allergic to any foods and is going for the steamboat, please leave a tag to state what you are allergic to. Lastly, report @ Pasir Ris MRT station at 3.45pm . Hey guys. Nice job for the Mid Autumn Celebrations. I'm proud of you all(: ======================================================================= And a new rule from Mr Alvin Loo. If you do not return the school's equipment(eg. camera, video camera, mic, tripods etc) after borrowing them for duty, there will be no hesitation in him taking action against you. And also, I think it's time the rules are set clear for when you are on duty. This applies for event duties, eg. CNY, Teachers' Day, Mid Autumn Festival Celebrations. 1) Attire given must be followed. 2) Late coming for rehearsals/actual event without a valid reason will be punishable. 3) Report to the OIC/2ndIC/ExCo when you arrive and before you leave early. 4) Items borrowed MUST be returned to the senior in charge of the respective places, eg. backstage, PA, photog/video etc) 5) Inform your seniors if you are leaving your duty area. Failure to comply in any of the above will result in possible punishment.

Mid Autumn Duty

Please Report at 2nd Floor PA Room at 2:50pm. Please wear your Club Tee and school pants/shorts/skirt, pe shorts, or any dark coloured (blue or black) shorts. It will end around 9+ at night. Thank You.

Teachers' Day

There will be another rehearsal before the actual event on Monday, 31st August, so all duty personnel have to meet at the 3rd floor PA room by 7.30 latest. (go to the 3rd floor PA room once you reach school cause Mrs Lip does not want others to see us in full black o.O) DO NOT BE LATE!! Attire for Duty personnel Club tee LONG, DARK pants (only dark blue/dark grey/black/dark brown accepted) Those without long pants, please try to borrow from your friends. For those on photography and video duty, you are not excused from morning assembly, so please come in full uniform to school. Whitewall

I suppose most of you have seen photos being put around the school, for example, in the canteen. That's part of NH Whitewall! Some of you may have heard of Whitewall, some may not. Well, basically Whitewall is all about photographs taken by you ! Procedure: 1) Take pictures with the theme school life. 2) For each photo, type out a caption not more than 20 words in both English and Chinese. 3) Rename your photos to this format: yourname+class_number of picture.jpg. Example: Tanminghui1o1_01.jpg 4) Type all captions into a notepad file and attach it together with the email. Please specify which caption is for which picture. 5) In the email, type your full name and class in the email. 6) Finally, attach the photos and send it to us at nhwhitewall@gmail.com ! Hi I am Eveline :D Small change to the duty list, Jerlyn is now on duty for Thursday Assemblies because Michelle has two duties. And we have been informed that CCA for the first two weeks of school have been canceled. However duties are to be carried out as per normal when morning assemblies are continued.

Amendments to Notification on Influenza A (H1N1-2009)

The following amendments will be made to the notification issued on 27th May 2009. 1. Contact particulars recorded by duty I/Cs are to be submitted to Head of Management, EXCO 2009-2010 with effect from 29th June 2009. 2. Disinfection of public item ( microphones ONLY ) will be conducted with alcoholic hand wash provided by the school in the General Office and canteen stalls. Do try to disinfect microphones for every change in user, if possible. Other measures remain unchanged. In addition, Ministry of Education has ordered for all assemblies (Flag-raising Ceremony and Thursday Assemblies) will be suspended for the first week after school reopens(29th June 2009-3rd July 2009).

Those who are going for the Infocomm 1 day camp in school on 12 June, please remember to bring THERMOMETER!!!!!!!!! Water bottle Storage device (i.e. thumbdrive) A positive attitude! $6 for the camp and consent forms if you haven't during the previous club session Do remember to have your breakfast before coming to school as there will be no breaks before your lunch at 1.15pm. Do not be late, reach the parade square by 8am . Latecomers will not be tolerated. Punishment shall be decided muahaha! >D /edited. Come in your PE attire. Class tees are fine. This has been brought to my notice by Lisa. In future, whenever you are going to another school for a school event, you are required to be in full school uniform unless otherwise specified. So members going for the Blogging Competition workshop, please be in your full school uniform.
Club Blog Under Renovation Expected Completion Date: 12 June 2009
Hello. I am Eveline. Please remember that the June Camp is on the 12th of this month, which is next Friday. A checklist will be posted up here by Sunday so please take a look at it and bring what you're supposed to bring. For those who have not paid the fee of $6, please bring it on they day of the camp. Remember that only Lunch is provided so it is recommended that you have your breakfast at home before coming for the camp. Regarding Li Kai's post below, yes the studio will be completed soon. According to Mrs Chiang, we will be trained by asknlearn staff. So pay attention and learn it properly :D And RP's equipment is really awesome. They have all the high-end facilities and I wouldn't mind living there for a few months to play with all the equipment. Happy holidays and do your homework :D
