Games Creation Competition (SGCC) Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) is back for the fifth consecutive year with the annual Singapore Games Creation Competition (SGCC) in 2010. The SGCC is open to students from secondary schools and institutions offering integrated programmes. Enriching workshops on games development and digital creation tools will be conducted for participants by NYP. Participants can look forward to picking up the finer points of game creation tools such as Adobe Flash, a popular tool commonly used in creating web games, web pages and eLearning materials. SGCC 2010 is supported by Infocomm Development Authority as part of itsNational Infocomm Competition, and will be held in two stages, with attractive prizes and trophies to be won at each stage. Stage 1 · June - students will learn to create games through hands-on workshops conducted by NYP · Top 20 teams from Stage 1 will progress to the Grand Finals in Stage 2 Stage 2
