If your work is rejected by the judges because you never checked through the submission guidelines, you only have yourself to blame. I stress yet again, this is highly important Basic guidelines as to what to include in your poster: Safety - so there must be a danger and a solution At work - what is the job of your character? Me Include your character of course. Proper analysis of the theme should be properly carried out before you think of any ideas as there were many unclear areas in the submitted poster. Pls do this next time to make sure your work fulfills the theme. Water through my lens competition

Hi guys, this competition deadline is quite near so take note. Dear All Photography Enthusiasts In celebration of World Water Day, NYAA Council, in partnership with PUB - our national water agency and Keep Singapore Beautiful Movement (KSBM), will be organising a photography competition entitled "Active, Beautiful, Clean Waters through My Lens." The objectives of the photography competition are to raise awareness among Singaporeans about the Active, Beautiful, Clean (ABC) water sites and its related activities to motivate them to take photos that will help position these sites as a community asset for leisure and recreation. The competition will also display powerful and emotive imagery that will demonstrate the freedom, the joy and the possibilities of enjoying our local water sites to the public. At the same time, it will also provide a platform to showcase photographic talents among Singaporeans. The Photography Competition is divided into three categories and the winners

Photo editing lesson on 23/2

Next wednesday, Miss Goh is going to give a lesson on photo-editing during club session. Those with Adobe Bridge and Photoshop CS5 on their laptops, pls bring ur laptops. Those without, pls make do with the CS4 version (if you have on your laptop) or CS3 on the school comp.

SYF Peformance at Hall

Dear all Next Tuesday 22/02, and next next Tuesday 01/03, during assembly, there will be performing arts group performing for SYF, and this is like a trial performance. Here are the list of performing arts group performing: 22/02: CO, Band, Choir, Guzheng and Harp 01/03: English and Chinese drama, dance. Duty personnels are to report at 1.05PM and ALL I/Cs are to report at 1.00pm sharp. Please do not be late, thanks!
