Student Investiture
Student Investiture Rehearsals will be on 20 May 2011 (Friday) and 25 May 2011 (Wednesday) . The actual event will be on 26 May 2011 (Thursday) from 3pm to 5.45pm . The rehearsal on the 20 May will be held in the sky garden . It will be just a briefing at 1.35pm so please report at the sky garden at 1.35pm and take note of what the teacher in charge has to say. Current Status on the release of EXCO NOMINEE LIST (2011-2012) Dear Sec 3s, I have just received news that the results would not be release tonight . Rather, it would be announced tomorrow during club session (18 May) I apologise for the false excitement and nervousness I may have imposed in my previous post. Nevertheless, voting will still be carried out and please ensure that you have a presentation to promote yourself when called upon. A reminder to all Sec 4s to attend club session for a while for the voting process. Should you have remedial, please inform your respective teacher about it and make sure you are present. SINGAPORE GAMES CREATION COMPETITION (SGCC) Singapore Games Creation Competition (SGCC) gives secondary school students an opportunity to learn about digital media development and games creation. It challenges them to create their very own games. The objective of SGCC is to: Provide an environment for school students to learn games creation through workshops on games development and digital creation tools. Give the participants an overview of the digital media industry. Give aspiring game developers an opportunity to share and showcase their games. SGCC consists of 2 stages. Teams may attend a 2-day workshop in Stage 1, and be challenged to create a game. The top 20 teams will then move on to Stage 2, be challenged to create in a focused 5-day workshop, and only the best teams will walk away with our top prizes!
