Competitions Galore!

Hey all nhInfocomm members, here are details some competitions you all could take part in. I strongly encourage all sec one and two members to make use of your youthful days and take part in more competition for your portfolio as your upper sec life will be too hectic and busy for competitions.

White Wall: National Theme
(Note: this competition is compulsory for all Infocomm members)

Yourfilm.sg
A nationawide short film/animation competition based on the theme "What Moves You?" with sub themes a)Kindness, b)Inspirational Seniors, c)Multi racial Harmony and d)Open Category. Dateline is 30th September 2008. More information at http://yourfilm.sg

NUS Climate Change Photography Competition
Submit a photograph along with a short description of 50 to 100 words of what climate change means to you and stand to win $1000. ubmit your entries via email to greencarnival2008@gmail.com by 20 August 2008, 2359 hrs.

3R Poster Design Competition
Come up with a poster to show a clear message on 3R - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Each participant can only submit a maximum of 2 entries. This competition is only open for individual entries.

Submitted artwork shall be made on an A3 sized paper mounted on a black mounting board with a 1.5cm border along the sides. The colours and artworks in the submission should be suitable for reproduction as posters. For artworks that are produced by software, a soft copy of the artwork in high resolution (psd, jpeg or tif format) is required to be submitted together with the hard copy.

The following details must be type-written in black Arial 12 font size, using the template (to be obtained from Mrs Chiang) must be enclosed together with the entry submission:

a) Name of competition
b) Category
c) Name of Participant
d) School
e) Title of the poster
