HELLO INFOCOMM CLUB MEMBERS!
thank you for updating yourselves by checking the blog. there is something we have to say.
we would like to apologise to all club members for what happened yesterday. we were too harsh in our treatment of you guys. wrong to generalise the problems of certain individuals, and putting the whole club down. we have to admit that we were wrong, for bad communication skills which led to misunderstandings. there are certain people that we were trying to point out at, and from your view, you see it as we are picking on you. for those that got wronged, we're sorry. for those who have the conscience to know that you did wrong, please repent. for those that have no conscience to know that you did wrong, watch out. from now on, things are going to change. actions will be taken, and don't mess with ME and the other SEC 3s. i hope that the unlucky ones will not be anyone of you. for those who choose to be smart, thank you. and for those outstanding individuals, i can say that i love you guys, so keep it up!
i know that some of you think that we are biased against you. but try looking from some different angles. you claim that we dont give you enough duties. from our view, we CANNOT give you duties, because there is no way we can deploy 70 people during morning assembly or assembly. i hope that you can understand! if you find us treating you unfairly, feel free to speak out! yixie's withdrawal of some of your duties was also forced. we were told last minute that there were too many people.
also, can we learn to cherish the people around us? look at james. he works his guts out for the club, yet still having to do work for the council (grats for being council vp!) he loves this club so much, it even hurts him to scold you guys. how often do you see a leader as good as him. when he leaves, what will happen? what will happen, when this batch leaves? what will happen, when there is no more yi xie to be organising events, no more james to inspire you, no more zhengda to lift the spirit, no more wesley to keep things in order, no samantha, no chenjing, no zhiwei, no lilian no kelvin, no junwei, no kangwei. we want to treat each others as friends and family. do you live in a family where your father does nothing but eat, drink and sleep and all your mum does is to fight with your dad, and you are constantly quarrelling with your siblings. you treat your family with RESPECT and CARE and LOVE! if only you can learn to appreciate our efforts, then we will have the motivation to bring the club to a higher level!
and just like a family, if you have any problems, come find us. we dont mind! you can come to tell us if you wanna design the club tee, you want duties, you have a plan for the club, whatever! we manage the club, but YOU MAKE IT. all of us are humans, and to err is human. sometimes even you might find problem with us. you dont have to shout and scream at us to let us know, just talk nicely like the way you want to be treated.
okay, now that all my BIG talk is gone, i want to thank EVERYONE. especially the hall crew today. jiayous for backstage crew! - LISA, JERIZXA, YEN SHEN and ZHENG DA. jiayous to PA crew! - SHAWN SIN, GINA, ANNABEL, SHAWN LAU, ZHI WEI. jiayous to cameramen! - EUGENE and LUO YANG. jiayous to all the very good girls and good boys in com lab 1 during cca time! jiayous to the verynoisy but still very good boys and very good girls who went for the yourfilm.sg workshop(must win if not don't tell ppl you from infocomm! jk XD) jiayous to our ever supporting mrs chiang. and even, jiayous to all those i havent mention, because your contribution to the club is still in the near future!
remember, we love you all equally, but you have to prove to us that you make us want to love you more!
so together, let us make infocomm@nanhua the nicest club in the entire universe! make all jealous of us! make it the most enjoyable cca! make it OUR cca, one that we love!
