Inter-school Digital Music Composing Competition
In their continuing efforts to encourage students to be innovative and creative in Digital Music, MusicTEC is organising an online Inter-School Digital Composition Competition (DMC2) for Primary and Secondary school students, as a "post-exam" activity in October.
2. Objective of this competition is to:
a) Provide students another platform to use digital technology in music composition.
b) Promote Innovation and Creativity in the arts.
c) Encourage student teamwork through music.
3) Competition Procedures.
[Starting date: 11/09/08]
1. Form team of 3.
2. Download Audio files from the competition site.
3. Compose "musical soundscape" (Using software to edit audio files-stretch, compress, reverse etc.)
[Submission date: 14/11/08]
4. Submit composition (by post)
5. Compositions Judged.
6. Results annouced via email and winnning entries posted online.
7. Delivery of prizes to winning teams.

The DCM2 registration will commence from 11th September 2008.
Closing date for submission of all entries will be on 14th November 2008.
Judging will be done by a panel of music professionals and educators.
