Safety At Work Starts with Me Poster
Edit 3: The deadline for everyone has been extended, as there are a few delays on the teachers side. Lucky for those who have not finished.

Edit: If ur files are too large to send thru email, bring in a thumbdrive this thurs
Edit 2: www.yousendit.com is a file sending website that sends files up to 100mb. Sign up for a free account there if ur poster is too large to send thru email.
If ur photoshop file (.psd) is beyond 100mb, go to Layers > Flatten Image to reduce the sie of the file.
Final Deadline For everyone except video groups: Thurs 10/3 5pm (not accepting submissions anymore after this, anybody who is late have to mail it the the judges urself)

When resending, pls indicate the category u are participating in (poster, essay or photo), and attach all files needed as stated below. ( 3 files for poster, 2 files for photo and essay)

ENTRY FORM: This is where your write up (not more than 100 words) will go. Pls print one for urself and bring on Thurs (10/3). If u are unable to print 1 (due to lack of printer etc), pls tell us thru the tagboard an we will print for u.
Entry form shuld have 1 title and 1 description of the poster/photo/video/essay.
Some of the requirements:
Poster category:
1) CMYK format ( In photoshop, go: Image > Mode > CMYK)
2) Poster size : A3; Resolution : 300 dpi
3) All text have to be converted to paths or created outlines (left click text layer> Rasterize)
4) Files to be handed in softcopy : .psd file, .jpeg file
5) Hardcopy: Printed poster (Ms Nor will be printing for us)
Mounting board (Ms Nor will order for us, price will be confirmed later)
6) All image links have to be included in the CD-ROM in CMYK colours. A text file with the links to the pictures you used should suffice.
Ppl who have submitted previous emails with mistakes pls resend again. Add a CORRECTED in the title.
Creative Photography Category:
1) All submitted photographs MUST BE in 8R (8”x10”) or S8R (8”x12”).
2) Softcopy digital images should be tagged according to your name, followed by your NRIC number and the photograph number. (e.g. LucasGoh_1234567A_01)
3) Photographs submitted must have a minimum resolution of 2000x3000 pixels (jpg or tiff) and photo softcopies must be saved in a CD and accompany the entry form.
Creative Essay Catergory:
1)Stories should be typed neatly on an A4 document, using 12pt font, single-spaced, printed on white paper, single sided. (Again, if printing is and issue, pls tell us in the tagboard)
2)Submissions MUST BE accompanied by the completed entry form (Im so sorry, creative writing does not need a write up)
Video & Short Film
1)Entries must be of duration of at least 1 min, but not more than 3 minutes. Entries more than 3 minutes WILL NOT be considered.
2)ALL entries must be in DVD PAL or AVI format. A minimum resolution of 720 x 576 pixels is required.
3)Video or short-film may be made in English and other languages. ALL non-English videos or short-films must have English subtitles.
4) Entries MUST BE submitted in a DVD-ROM andbaccompanied by a completed entry form.
5) Submitted entries must be playable on PC/Mac DVD-ROM drives or consumer DVD players.
