New Media in Education Fiesta 2012 is proudly presented by Innova Junior College,Centre of Excellence for New Media. All students are encouraged to go and experience the following exciting new media courses,projects and appreciation @ only $40 inclusive of a Innova Film Festival Ticket! (which will be sponsered by the school)
1) Digital Media Workshops:
Pick up the following digital media skills from industry professional:
-Digital film making
-Digital broadcasting & music design
-Graphic design & animation
-Digital Photography
-Machinima
2) New Media Appreciation:
Experience a new media immersive culture through new media installation arts, virtual world interaction and mobile learning.
3) Project 909- On The Fly New Media Productions:
Produce 90-second short films or machinima in 9 hours to promote social messages under quality mentorship. Put your new media skills into good use by promoting social messages through podcasts, digital photography and digital graphic designs.
4) Innova Film Festival @ Cathay Cineleisure*:
As part of the New Media Academy, you will get to immerse in the theme "Take Action!" which features thought-provoking and heart-tugging films on social issues. A sharing by a professional local director on producion tips and anecdotes will further inspire the young budding filmmakers amongst you! Innova Film Festival will be held on 14 March, 7pm at Cathay Cineleisure.
