The deadline for the first round is on the 31st May 2012. There will be a workshop for those who make it to the second round around Mid-June before the finalised newspaper is submitted on the 17th of August. Groups will also have to give a presentation on their newspapers in the second round on the 22nd of August.
The iremembermySchoolDays School Competition is now on! Jointly presented by the Singapore Memory Project and the Ministry of Education, this competition challenges students to create an imaginative and interactive newspaper filled with memories of school days. Members are encouraged to send teams of students comprising 2 – 5 members of various skill sets, such as writing and design. Each team is required to collect school day memories through research and interviews with the general public and present these memories in the form of a creative multimedia newspaper.
