SCS Splash Awards 2013- 10 years of creativity


In its 10th consecutive year, Splash Awards 2013 is organized by the Singapore Computer Society Student Chapter and supported by the Infocomm Development Authority (IDA). This annual IT competition will focus on innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship through the development of application development regarding the use of government data from data.gov.sg. 


Apr 2013 - Splash Awards 2013 opens
Jun 2013 - Registration & Stage A submission closes
Jul 2013 - Stage A judging & release of results
Aug 2013 - Stage B judging
Sept 2013 - Prize presentation & exhibition of submissions

Competition Period: Apr 2013 - Jun 2013

Please note that for the Secondary School Category, you are ONLY required to participate in Stage A of the competition, which only requires you to submit a Power Point Presentation for your mobile application. Finalists maybe asked to give a presentation of their ideas.

Canon PhotoMarathon

The region's largest photo competition- CANON PHOTOMARATHON is back with its 11th edition! The Canon PhotoMarathon is a "live" photo contest, where participants are issued a theme and given 3 hours to shoot and submit their best interpretation of the assigned theme before the next theme is released. The contest starts with the first theme announced at 9am, with a total of 3 themes for the day. A panel of esteemed judges selects the winners, and attractive prizes are awarded immediately at the end of the day!

8th Singapore Games Creation Competition

Nanyang Polytechnic’s School of Interactive & Digital Media (SIDM) is organising the Singapore Games Creation Competition for the 8th time.
We wish to invite you or your schoolmates to participate in this competition. As usual, you will need to form teams of up to 4 persons and sign up in our SGCC website.
We shall be hosting the opening ceremony in the afternoon of 4th June 2013, where we shall reveal the theme and format of this year’s competition.
Your students are welcome to submit their games in either GameMaker: Studio, Game Salad and Adobe Flash CS6 platforms.
Free 2-Day Training workshops on GameMaker: Studio will be provided from 10th to 23rd June 2013.
