Hello club. Please take note of the following competitions and participate in them actively. Those who are interested please form your teams (if necessary) and inform me ASAP. Any questions you have please message me if need be. Thank you.

N.E.mation! 8

In this competition, you are required to form groups of 3-4 members and come up with a story (maximum of 3 stories) for a one minute animation clip as part of the first round submission deliverables. Do note that you are only required to produce the animation clip if you managed to get into the top ten teams after many rounds of pitching and storyboarding. The theme for N.E.mation! 8 is BECAUSE YOU PLAYED A PART. Participating teams are required to come up with up to 3 story and write a brief synopsis of not more than 300 words to submit for the first round judging. This must be done before 21 August 2013 (Wednesday), 1pm.

Schools Digital Media Awards 2014 (SDMA 2014)

SDMA 2014 requires partcipants to get into groups of 3-5 members and produce a video (length vary with genres and themes) to address any of the following six themes.
1) Contributing To My Family
2) My Community, My Nation and I
3) Old Is Gold
4) School Days (Inspirational Teachers and Principals or My Special Place in School)
5) Hear Me Out!
6) Do You Know?

P.S.: This is a compulsory competition. All club members should already have a team. Please be ready with a story idea to show the Exco next Wednesday (31/07) before the video training workshop. As the number of submissions per school is capped at a maximum of 5, only the 5 best storylines will be selected. So please do come up with quality work for us. Thank you.

Landscape Photography Competition

This competition requires participants to form groups of 4 and embark on a learning journey to the Gardens By The Bay, where in your groups, you are required to document your journey and submit the five best photos with a write-up for each photo (its a PHOTO JOURNAL) as part of the submission requirements.

Events and Hotels Experience

In this competition, which will take place after your End Of Years Examinations, you will be given a be behind the scenes tour on the operation of the Mandarin Orchard Hotel and also the organizing of the Halloween Event party at SCAPE. Then, in your groups of 5 members, you will have to come up with proposals for event management and also effective solutions to solve the problems that may make one's hotel stay unpleasant.
