Storyboards are only required to be submitted at the end of the workshops.

Got a brilliant idea for an app but do not know where to start?  Look no further.  Form a team comprising of 3 members and enter the [i.code] :: i Code to Give National Infocomm Competition (NIC) 2014 to build a mobile app that promotes a social cause.  


Registration closes on 26 May 2014.


Workshops: 

There will be a 2-day foundation workshop for beginners and a 1-day fast track workshop for those with prior programming knowledge.

Mobile Apps


Workshop: 11 June - 13 June 2014, 9am - 5pm
                    OR
                    23 June - 25 June 2014, 9am - 5pm

This is what is required for submission:


  1. A 200-word description of the value/usefulness/features of the application.
  2. A 2 minutes video to showcase and provide a visual walk through of the mobile app, its features and how to use the app.
  3. The complete project folder used in the development of the application containing all the relevant source files and resources like images, audio clips and / or video clips.
  4. An installable file of the application if applicable.
eBook

Workshop: 11 June 2014, 9am - 5pm
                    OR
                    23 June 2014, 9am - 5pm

This is what is required for submission:


  1. Power-point presentation with following details:
    • Team Name
    • Name of Team Leader, Team Members & group photo
    • A title and summary of the eBook
    • Screen-captures of important screens and features
  2. Final compiled eBook in ibook format.
  3. Source files for eBook to be submitted.
Moving Images

This is what is required for submission:
  1. All submitted content must be in English or subtitled in English (if otherwise)
  2. No short films (Live actors) are allowed.
  3. Youtube Video of minimum resolution of 1280 X 720 which contains:
  4. Animation of not more than 3 minutes (credits not included)

  5. Credits at the end have to include the following:
    • Name of Team Leader
    • Names of Group Member
    • School Name & Group Name (If any)
  6. A storyboard in PDF format is to be submitted
    • Any format is accepted (Rough Sketch/Drawings in boxes with brief descriptions)
    • File size no bigger than 15MB
  7. Any animation/editing software can be used for this competition.
